Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a certified Yoga Instructor to lead online classes for a global remote team, including Benoni-based members. You will design engaging sessions across levels, using live streaming platforms, and create a welcoming learning environment.

The ideal candidate has a 200+ hour certification and at least two years of teaching experience, with strong communication and online teaching skills. Flexible hours and remote work are offered.

About the Role

Our client is searching for a certified and inspiring Yoga Instructor to lead virtual yoga sessions for their remote team members based in Benoni and across the globe. This role involves creating and delivering engaging online yoga classes tailored to various skill levels, promoting physical well-being, stress reduction, and mindfulness. You will conduct classes via live streaming platforms, fostering a sense of community and health amongst participants. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your expertise in a flexible, remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver dynamic online yoga classes suitable for different levels (beginner to advanced).
• Lead live streaming yoga sessions focusing on Hatha, Vinyasa, or other relevant yoga styles.
• Provide clear instructions and modifications to ensure safe and effective practice for all participants.
• Educate participants on the physical and mental benefits of yoga and mindfulness.
• Engage with participants before and after sessions, answering questions and fostering a supportive community.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of yoga practices, trends, and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Certified Yoga Instructor (e.g., RYT 200 or higher).
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching yoga, preferably including online classes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of yoga poses, anatomy, and alignment principles.
• Excellent verbal communication and motivational skills.
• Proficiency with video conferencing software and online teaching platforms.
• Ability to create a welcoming and inclusive online yoga environment.
