Our client is seeking an inspiring and business-savvy Yoga Studio Manager to lead operations at their vibrant studio in the picturesque town of Stellenbosch, Western Cape . This role demands a blend of passion for yoga and wellness with strong operational and leadership skills. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing staff, overseeing class schedules, driving membership sales, and ensuring the overall success and growth of the studio, making it a cherished community hub for health and mindfulness in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the yoga studio, ensuring a clean, serene, and welcoming environment for all members and guests.
• Manage and motivate a team of yoga instructors, front desk staff, and support personnel, including scheduling and performance reviews.
• Develop and implement creative marketing and sales strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones, increasing class attendance and revenue.
• Manage studio finances, including budgeting, expense tracking, payroll, and sales reporting, ensuring profitability and financial health.
• Curate and manage the class schedule, ensuring a diverse offering of yoga styles and levels to meet member needs.
• Foster a strong sense of community within the studio, organizing workshops, events, and social gatherings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in studio management, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry (yoga experience is a strong plus).
• Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
• Strong sales, marketing, and customer service acumen.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in studio management software, POS systems, and basic financial management.
