Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a passionate Certified Yoga Instructor & Wellness Facilitator to join a community-focused wellness center in Soweto. Lead invigorating and restorative classes, design wellness programs, and guide members toward balance in body, mind, and spirit.

You will teach diverse modalities (Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative), develop mindfulness workshops, provide safe modifications, and foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere. Hybrid or online delivery may be explored.

Qualifications

• Certified Yoga Teacher Training from a recognized program (e.g., 200-hour RYT)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching yoga to diverse groups
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Strong understanding of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and safe alignment principles

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of yoga classes (Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative) for different levels
• Develop and facilitate wellness workshops focusing on mindfulness and holistic health
• Provide personalized guidance and modifications to students for safe practice
• Create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all participants
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of yoga practices, anatomy and wellness trends

Requirements
