About the Role

Our client is seeking an inspiring and experienced Lead Yoga Instructor & Studio Manager for their boutique yoga studio in the heart of Stellenbosch . This dual role requires a dedicated individual to both teach a variety of yoga classes and manage the day-to-day operations of the studio. You will be responsible for cultivating a welcoming and supportive community for students, managing schedules, overseeing staff, marketing the studio, and ensuring a seamless client experience. The ideal candidate is a certified, passionate yoga instructor with leadership qualities and a keen eye for detail in studio management.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach a diverse range of yoga classes, adapting to different levels and styles to meet student needs.
• Manage studio operations, including class scheduling, front desk operations, and client inquiries.
• Oversee and train front desk staff and other studio assistants, ensuring high standards of customer service.
• Promote the studio's offerings, manage social media presence, and engage with the local community.
• Maintain the cleanliness, ambiance, and organization of the yoga studio spaces.
• Handle administrative tasks such as invoicing, payroll, and inventory management for studio supplies.

Requirements

• Minimum 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification from a recognized institution; RYT-500 preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching yoga classes.
• Previous experience in studio management, customer service, or administrative roles is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Mindbody or similar studio management software.
