Job summary

Apex Group seeks a specialist to design, develop, test, and deploy automated solutions using the Xceptor Platform across production processes. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and operations teams to optimize end-to-end workflows and deliver cost-saving improvements.

You will own technical design documentation, participate in code reviews, and mentor teammates on best practices for automation, data integration, and platform architecture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience in a technical role designing/implementing solutions using Xceptor or another low-code ETL application.
Successful delivery of solutions resulting in cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
Familiarity with agile methodologies.

Job description

Design, prototype, develop, test, and deploy applications throughout the Apex Group
Design automated solutions and manage automation projects from low to high complexity, primarily using the Xceptor Platform
Support and improve existing Xceptor production processes
Design, develop, implement, and operationalise newly proposed projects and solutions
Support the Xceptor Product Owner in promoting best-practice design and architecture and implementing current Xceptor platform features
Support operations teams and troubleshoot production issues
Perform root-cause analysis and propose holistic fixes and enhancements
Collaborate with business stakeholders to assess process feasibility and optimisation
Work with business users, business analysts, and Xceptor developers to finalise business automation and technical requirements
Select appropriate tools, methods, and design patterns for requirements
Create solution design documentation
Contribute to development methodologies and best practices for design, coding, quality, and performance
Participate in code reviews and facilitate knowledge transfers
Oversee technical testing and support quality assurance of business-user development and projects
Participate in and oversee all automation project lifecycle stages, including production deployment, hyper-care, and monitoring
Define and create technical documentation according to global best practices
Educate the business on best practices and Xceptor capabilities
Develop understanding of peripheral applications and process endpoints to support end-to-end process enhancements

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or similar field
Experience in a technical role, designing and implementing solutions using Xceptor or another low-code ETL application
Successful delivery of solutions resulting in cost savings and efficiency improvements
Experience with SQL and Oracle databases
Experience with standard software development tools such as Git and Microsoft Visual Studio DevOps
Familiarity with agile methodologies
Experience working with UiPath, IWay Service Manager, Data Migrator and/or Control-M would be beneficial
Knowledge of all components of the Xceptor Platform and their integration, including Data Hub, Reconciliation Hub, Process Orchestrator, Workflow, Confirmations, document management and generation, OCR, connectors, API, and API gateway
Knowledge of Xceptor application configuration and setup, including the Xceptor core database, stored procedures, and dataflow views
Understanding of Xceptor application configuration and all input channel types
Ability to develop custom functions, query lists, and delivery destinations
Ability to create translation views from various sources using SQL and Oracle
Knowledge of Message Hub configuration
Knowledge of dataset setup/configuration and archive scheduling
Understanding of Xceptor architecture and efficient process build methods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to explain technical concepts to business audiences
Strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, planning, workload-management, detail-orientation, and continuous-improvement skills

Core Competencies
