This role focuses on supporting the organisation’s business objectives by configuring, integrating, and continuously improving core enterprise platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, OnBase ECM, and the broader Microsoft 365 digital workspace stack in partnership with internal stakeholders. The role drives the engineering, workflow automation, and operational health of these platforms, developing Unity Scripts and Power Platform solutions to extend system capabilities and streamline business processes. The incumbent acts as the primary technical partner to business stakeholders, translating operational requirements into configured, integrated, and automated solutions supported by the underlying Azure and AWS services that enable these platforms always with business process efficiency and end-user productivity as the primary outcomes.
You will engage with the following stakeholders:
External
- Customers
- Industry associations
- Service providers
Internal
- Product and Scheme Office
- Human Capital Management Office
- Legal Office
- Finance Office
- Strategy Transformation Office
- Governance, Risk and Compliance Offices
Your key responsibilities include:
Finance Awareness and Operations

Strategic and Technical Alignment
- Ensure technical work and platform deliverables are aligned with the business unit’s strategy.
- Regularly document, communicate, and review alignment with team leads and internal stakeholders.
- Drive enterprise architecture decisions for digital workspace and EUC platform solutions, ensuring the support function operates proactively rather than reactively.
Enterprise Application Engineering
- Own the configuration, development, and operational health of the organisation’s core enterprise application ecosystem - OnBase ECM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and the workflow automation layer that connects them to Finance, HR, Legal, and Procurement operations.
- This role sits at the intersection of business process and technical delivery, translating operational requirements from business stakeholders into configured, scripted, and integrated solutions.
OnBase & D365 Platform Ownership
- Configure and maintain OnBase workflow, document types, life cycle management, and API integrations
- Develop and maintain Unity Scripts to extend OnBase functionality, automate document lifecycle processes, and integrate with D365 and other internal systems.

- Partner with business units to identify, scope, and deliver automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and improve data integrity across systems
Business Partnership
- Act as the primary technical partner to internal stakeholders, translating business process needs into system configuration, workflow design, and integration solutions.
- Gather requirements, propose solutions, and manage delivery of enhancements directly with business stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for OnBase, D365, and related workflow tooling used by these business functions.
Supporting Cloud & Identity Infrastructure
- Maintain the underlying Azure and AWS services that enable the application ecosystem above — this is in service of the applications, not a standalone infrastructure mandate:
- Azure Active Directory / Entra ID for identity and access supporting D365, OnBase, and Microsoft 365 users
- Azure App Services, Functions, and Logic Apps are used for D365/OnBase integrations
- Azure Monitor / Application Insights for monitoring the health of these application integrations
- AWS IAM, Lambda, and API Gateway were used to support integration or serverless components of the application stack
Continuous Improvement & Automation
- Propose and implement process automation, performance improvements, and reliability strategies across digital workspace and enterprise platforms.
- Deliver internal technology projects in line with company standards and DevOps principles. Champion Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep/ARM templates) and configuration management practices.
- Implement system observability, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for proactive support across all digital workspace and enterprise platforms. Track incidents, root cause resolutions, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Maintain operational dashboards and SLA reporting.
Platform Modernisation & Cloud Alignment
- Lead cloud and hybrid-cloud readiness initiatives for OnBase, D365, and digital workspace platforms. Align with enterprise cloud strategies (Azure, AWS, and Hyland Cloud) and the Microsoft 365 roadmap. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies across Microsoft and AWS cloud capabilities that improve the digital employee experience and platform resilience.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Contribute to operational policies and procedures for digital workspace and enterprise platforms.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, regulatory, and audit requirements. Identify, mitigate, and elevate platform-related risks.
