Job summary

Apex Group is seeking an Xceptor Developer to join the Technology team in Cape Town/Joburg. You will design and implement automated solutions using the Xceptor Platform, support production processes and drive process improvements across the business.

You will collaborate with SMEs, BAs and fellow developers to deliver robust solutions, while contributing to design, coding, testing and operational deployment. Experience with low-code ETL tools and SQL is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field.
• Experience in a technical role designing and implementing solutions using Xceptor or another low-code ETL application.
• Successful delivery of solutions resulting in cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, develop, test, and deploy applications throughout the Apex Group.
• Support operations teams and troubleshoot production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and propose holistic fixes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on feasibility and process optimization.
• Design automation solutions using Xceptor and other technologies.
• Contribute to development methodologies and drive best practices.
