Job summary

Apex Group is seeking an Xceptor Developer to join the Technology team in Cape Town or Johannesburg. You will design, develop and deploy automation solutions using the Xceptor Platform, working with Business Analysts and SMEs to optimize processes and support scalable operations.

The role involves contributing to best practices, code reviews, and ensuring production readiness while expanding our automation capabilities in a global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field.
• Experience designing and implementing Xceptor or similar low-code ETL solutions.
• Experience with SQL and Oracle databases; familiarity with CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, develop, test, and deploy automation using Xceptor and related tooling.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to define requirements and translate them into automated solutions.
• Review code, perform QA, and support production deployments across regions.
• Create technical documentation and promote best practices in design and architecture.
