Job summary

Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) is seeking an Xceptor Developer to join the Integration Automation team in Cape Town/Johannesburg. You will design and implement automated solutions using the Xceptor platform, supporting production processes and driving efficiency across the organization.

You will work with stakeholders, Product Owner, and developers to ensure best practices, architecture, and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or similar field.
• Experience in a technical role designing and implementing solutions using Xceptor or another low-code ETL application.
• Experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
• Familiar with agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, develop, test, and deploy applications throughout the Apex Group.
• Support operations teams and troubleshoot production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and propose holistic fixes and enhancements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders on feasibility and optimization of processes.
• Work with Business Users, Business Analysts and fellow Xceptor Developers to meet requirements.
• Design automation solutions using Xceptor and other technologies with well-structured design documentation.
• Contribute to development methodologies and best practices and drive adoption.
• Participate in code reviews and facilitate knowledge transfers.
• Oversee testing and QA of automation projects and production deployments.
• Create technical documentation for automations and educate the business on best practices.
• Understand peripheral applications to assist end-to-end process enhancements.
