Job summary

Apex Group is seeking an Xceptor Developer to join the Cape Town/Johannesburg Technology team. You will design, develop, and automate processes using the Xceptor platform, driving efficiency and scalable solutions for our clients.

You will support and improve existing production processes, promote best practices, and collaborate with SMEs, business analysts, and developers to deliver robust automation across environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a similar field.
• Experience designing and implementing solutions using Xceptor or another low-code ETL application.
• Successful delivery of solutions resulting in cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
• Experience with standard development tools (Git, Azure DevOps).
• Familiar with agile methodologies.
• Experience working with UIPath, IWay Service Manager, Data Migrator and/or Control-M would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, develop, test, and deploy applications with the Xceptor Development team.
• Support operations teams and troubleshoot production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and propose holistic fixes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to feasibility and optimization of their processes.
• Sign off on business automation requirements with SMEs and other stakeholders.
• Create technical documentation for automations and best practices.
• Oversee automation project lifecycle from development to production deployment.
• Lead knowledge transfers and participate in code reviews.
