Placements24 is seeking a Purchasing Administrator in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, to manage procurement from vineyard to bottling. The role supports sourcing, supplier negotiations, and inventory oversight within a hybrid office setting.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor's in a related field and 2–3 years’ purchasing experience, with strong organizational and ERP/MS Office skills. Wine industry experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of purchasing, administration, or a similar role.
• Experience in wine or food and beverage industries is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP/purchasing software.
• Hybrid work environment experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders for winery needs.
• Source and identify reliable suppliers for packaging, chemicals, equipment, and operational supplies.
• Obtain quotes, compare prices, and negotiate terms with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and manage vendor databases.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders.
• Assist in preparing purchasing reports and budget tracking.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and regulations.
• Liaise with internal departments to understand procurement requirements.
• Resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders and deliveries.
