Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Wind Turbine Technician to join our remote operations team. You will maintain and service wind farms across multiple regions, diagnosing issues and ensuring optimal performance.

This hands-on role requires safety discipline, ability to work independently, and proficiency with mechanical and electrical systems. Remote work offers flexibility, with training and tools provided.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or associate's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of wind turbine technician experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures for working at heights and with high-voltage equipment.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to remote work guidelines.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on wind turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex turbine faults using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and ensure operational reliability.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with strict safety protocols and company procedures.
• Document maintenance activities, findings, and parts usage accurately.
• Collaborate remotely with engineering and operations support teams to resolve technical challenges.
