Job summary

Jobs 4 All is seeking a commercially driven salesperson to manage and grow a wholesale accounts portfolio in Gauteng. You will identify new wholesale opportunities, build relationships with decision-makers, and achieve sales targets while collaborating with logistics, marketing and product teams.

The role requires Matric, 5+ years wholesale sales experience, and willingness to travel, including overnight stays and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Matric essential.
• Minimum 5 years’ sales experience, specifically within the wholesale environment.
• Experience within lighting, electrical, hardware or a related trade will be a strong advantage.
• Proven track record in account management and new business development.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building and communication skills.
• Good numerical and basic financial skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable working with CRM systems.
• A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are essential.
• Must be Gauteng-based and comfortable traveling extensively to customers.
• Must be available for occasional overnight travel, overtime, customer events and Saturday work when operationally required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, grow and retain an established portfolio of wholesale accounts.
• Identify and secure new wholesale business opportunities within the Gauteng/Inland market.
• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, buyers and stakeholders.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Conduct regular customer visits and identify opportunities to increase product penetration.
• Present product solutions and recommend the appropriate product mix according to customer requirements.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and pricing within company guidelines.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and customer requirements.
• Promote new products, campaigns and sales promotions.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts and customer information on the CRM system.
• Work closely with internal sales, logistics, marketing and product teams to ensure excellent customer service.
• Conduct product demonstrations and support customer training and trade events where required.
