Job summary

Wellness Warehouse in Cape Town is seeking a customer‑focused retail assistant to greet customers, direct them to products, and uphold merchandising standards. You will assist at the point of sale, handle cash, and participate in stock checks to ensure accurate counts and timely expiry checks.

Weekend availability is required; training and ongoing development are provided to support excellent customer service and product knowledge in a health and wellness environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year retail experience is preferred.
• A genuine interest in health and wellness – brand ambassadors.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and extended retail hours.
• Competency Assessment Achieved.

Responsibilities

• Greet, smile, and acknowledge customers and direct them to products.
• Ensure all merchandising principles are in place and every item is ticketed.
• Assist at point of sale and with cash ups.
• Ensure accurate receiving and checking of store deliveries as per store manual.
• Maintain stock counts and check product expiry dates.
• Be professional in all customer interactions.
