Job summary

Clicks Plettenberg Bay is seeking a Wellness Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service and expert guidance on healthcare, nutrition, and supplements. You will help drive sales by cross selling and upselling across a broad range of brands while maintaining stock and store presentation.

With a focus on knowledge sharing, you will ensure stock availability, adherence to stock rotation, and hygiene standards to create an inviting shopping environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Essential: Basic health, fitness and supplements product knowledge.
• Essential: Basic knowledge of retail store operations principles (stock management, merchandising, risk management)

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service through in-store visibility and proactive customer needs assessment.
• Consult with customers and provide suitable advice on healthcare, nutritional and supplement products.
• Drive healthcare sales in line with targets through promotion of brands by cross selling and upselling.
• Drive stock availability in healthcare aisles through stock management principles and procedures.
• Prevent wastage in own area by adhering to stock rotation principles.
• Prevent stock losses by following all risk management policies and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness to create an appealing shopping environment.
• Execute product merchandising following guidelines and SOPs.
• Ensure continuity of service by developing own product knowledge and sharing it with relief staff.
