Job summary

Chainlink Recruitment is seeking an External Sales Representative in Boksburg, Gauteng with hands-on knowledge of welding systems, equipment and consumables. You will advise clients on welding techniques and applications while driving sales and providing ongoing technical support and after-sales service.

The role involves identifying new business, promoting welding equipment, conducting demonstrations, and building long-term relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• Previous external sales experience, preferably in welding equipment or industrial supplies.
• Practical knowledge of welding systems, machinery, consumables and equipment servicing.
• Ability to advise customers on different welding techniques and their applications.
• Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills.
• Confident in conducting client visits and product demonstrations.
• Self-motivated, commercially minded and able to work independently.
• Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities
