Job summary

Chainlink Recruitment is seeking an experienced KZN Sales Manager to drive growth across industrial consumables, welding, abrasives and safety sectors. You will lead a senior sales team, manage national accounts and develop new business opportunities across shipbuilding, petrochemical refineries, construction sites and power generation.

The role requires strong technical product knowledge, exceptional relationship-building skills, and proven B2B sales leadership to deliver sustained revenue

Qualifications

• Industrial/welding knowledge including consumables, welding products, abrasives and safety equipment
• Proven experience in business-to-business sales
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a sales team
• High energy, target-driven, results-focused sales leadership

Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy — Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
• Key Account Management — Manage and grow relationships with contractors, industrial clients, and national key accounts
• Product Promotion — Promote industrial consumables, welding supplies, abrasives, and safety gear
• New Business Development — Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base
• Operational Coordination — Work closely with operations and service teams to ensure reliable customer support
• Quotations & Pricing — Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and manage the sales pipeline
• Market Analysis — Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
• Sales Team Leadership — Lead and motivate the sales team to deliver excellent service and consistent results
