Job summary

TWK Agri in Vryheid, KwaZulu-Natal, has a vacancy for a Clerk: Weighbridge within the Timber division. The role provides administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the depot.

The Clerk will maintain records, process paperwork, capture data, coordinate stock, handle customer and supplier queries, and assist with daily depot operations. Matric and bilingual abilities are preferred; MS Office proficiency and contractor coordination are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12
• Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
• Trilingual (English, Afrikaans & isiZulu) (advantageous)
• Previous Transnet experience (advantageous)
• Proficient in MS Office suite
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong housekeeping and general property maintenance skills, with the ability to maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
• Ability to effectively coordinate and oversee contractors, ensuring work is completed to the required standards, quality, and timelines
• Own reliable transport
• Reliable, responsible, and willing to work overtime when required

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate depot records and documentation
• Capture stock movements and assist with inventory control
• Process deliveries, collections, and related paperwork
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments
• Handle general administration, data capturing, and email correspondence
• Assist with stock counts and reconciliations
• Ensure good housekeeping and compliance with company procedures
• Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of depot operations
