Qualifications

• Certifications in watersports you instruct (e.g., ISA Surf Instructor, ACA Kayak Instructor)
• Proven teaching or coaching experience in watersports
• Strong swimming ability and good physical fitness
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse groups
• First Aid and CPR certification is required

Responsibilities

• Instruct and coach participants in watersports (surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing) following safety guidelines
• Develop lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to different skill levels
• Conduct pre-activity safety briefings and maintain safety equipment
• Monitor participants and intervene for safety as needed
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment for all ages
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleanliness of the watersports centre

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment and maintain the cleanliness of the watersports centre.

Requirements
