Job summary

Objective Personnel seeks a Water Treatment Plant Operator for a beverage manufacturing operation in Gauteng. You will monitor pumps, valves, filters, reverse osmosis, and chemical dosing units, collect water and effluent samples, perform laboratory tests, and log data in our systems.

You will also conduct basic preventative maintenance, calibrate probes, and report equipment faults. Matric with a BTech or Diploma in Chemical Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in beverage manufacturing as an Operator in the Water Treatment Plant.
• Take water/effluent samples, run laboratory tests, and log data via systems.
• Monitor and control pumps, valves, filters, reverse osmosis, and chemical dosing units (chlorine, coagulants, neutralizers).
• Perform basic or preventative mechanical upkeep, calibrate probes, and report equipment faults.
