Job summary

JVR Software is seeking an Operator in the Water Treatment Plant within the beverage manufacturing sector in Gauteng, South Africa. The successful candidate will hold Matric and a BTech or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, and have hands-on experience operating water treatment equipment.

Responsibilities include monitoring and controlling pumps, valves, filters, reverse osmosis and chemical dosing units; taking water and effluent samples; running laboratory tests; logging data; and performing

• Experience in water treatment operations within beverage manufacturing.
• Matric and a BTech or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.

• Take water/effluent samples, run laboratory tests, and log data via systems.
• Perform basic or preventative mechanical upkeep, calibrate probes, and report equipment faults.
• Ensure safe operation and compliance with safety standards.
