Job summary

Global Water Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Sales Representative in Gauteng, South Africa, focused on the full range of GWS products. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of external sales experience and fluency in English and Afrikaans.

You will travel extensively, build client rapport, and drive meetings, training, and seminars with customers. You will report to the Regional Director – Africa and operate from Gauteng, with a hands-on attitude, strong ethics, and a track record of exceeding

Qualifications

• Minimum of at least 3 years of external sales experience, which is a MUST for this role.
• Fluency in both English and Afrikaans required.
• Self-driven, team player with the ability to strategise and understand market and consumer insights.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain rapport with Industrial Clients and hardware outlet branches we are dealing with.
• Visit on a rotational call cycle basis of 6 to 8 weeks; extensive travel is a key part of this position—possibly three days per week.
• Grow the client's purchases where we have limited exposure.
• Ensure inactive customers and retail branches are persuaded to start buying again.
• Analyze prospects and design solutions that best meet customer needs; be the go-to person for problem-solving.
• Gain adequate technical knowledge of our products and their usage by reading up on each product.
• Train, educate, and conduct seminars with customers on our products and applications; ongoing at stores with staff.
• Attend regional trade shows and expos to promote GWS and its products.
• Provide clear and accurate reporting of sales outcomes to management.
• Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Complete adequate physical sales calls in all areas to ensure targets are met.
• Participate in sales and business training programs to improve performance.
• Manage the budget for travel expenses.
