Placements24 is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to contribute to water management and infrastructure projects in Pretoria. The role focuses on design and analysis of water supply systems, flood control measures, and sustainable water strategies in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources.
• Experience with hydrological and hydraulic modeling software.
• Knowledge of South African water legislation and environmental regulations.
• Proven ability to manage water-related projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hydrological studies and hydraulic modeling for river systems, urban drainage, and water supply networks.
• Design water infrastructure such as dams, pipelines, treatment plants, and flood protection structures.
• Develop and implement water resource management plans, considering environmental impact and sustainability.
