About the Role

Our client, a global leader in specialized e-commerce fulfillment, is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Warehouse Supervisor to manage operations entirely remotely, overseeing their strategic hub in Polokwane, Limpopo . This unique position requires exceptional leadership and operational management skills, applied without the need for physical presence on-site. You will be responsible for driving efficiency, ensuring adherence to safety standards, managing team performance, and optimizing workflows from a distance. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all warehouse operations remotely, ensuring productivity and efficiency targets are met for the Polokwane, Limpopo facility.
• Develop and implement remote management strategies to guide and support on-site teams, including shift planning and task delegation.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time dispatch, and inventory turnover, using data analytics tools.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations across the warehouse floor through remote supervision and training oversight.
• Conduct virtual performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to on-site leads and team members.
• Implement and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse functions, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct audits, and implement strategies to minimize discrepancies and stockouts.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams effectively in a remote or distributed work environment.
• Proven experience in optimizing warehouse operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using WMS, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and virtual leadership skills.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic operational plans remotely.
