About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Warehouse Operations Lead to join their team in a fully remote position. This role is vital for guiding and optimizing the operational strategies of our client's warehousing functions across various locations, without requiring physical presence at a specific site. You will be responsible for developing best practices, implementing new operational models, and ensuring efficiency and scalability in warehouse management systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale warehouse operations, a strong understanding of Lean principles, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and strategic planning. This position demands excellent leadership qualities, strong communication skills for remote team engagement, and a proven track record of managing complex operational challenges from a distance. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement best practices for warehouse operations across all company facilities.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead and mentor remote teams and site-based managers to achieve operational excellence.
• Design and roll out new warehouse processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Oversee the implementation and optimization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations management.
• Proven experience in leading and improving large-scale warehouse operations.
• Expertise in Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and their implementation.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, particularly in a remote setting.
