Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead to oversee warehouse activities, drive inventory accuracy, and develop SOPs, KPIs, and procedures on the factory floor.

The role requires a strong background in industrial engineering with 3–5 years in manufacturing or logistics, ERP experience (SYSPRO preferred), advanced Excel, and a hands-on leadership style. Collaboration with multiple teams is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, production or warehouse operations.
• Experience in process improvement, inventory management, material flow or production planning.
• Strong ERP system knowledge; SYSPRO experience advantageous.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience developing KPIs and implementing operational improvements beneficial.
• Additional qualifications in Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Operations Management advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence; forklift licence advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to work on the factory floor.
• Leadership potential and ambition to progress into broader operations management roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling and stock accuracy.
• Manage material picking, kitting and issuing to support production schedules.
• Identify and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages and material availability risks.
• Analyse processes and implement efficiency and cost-saving improvements.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, KPIs and warehouse procedures.
• Optimise warehouse layouts, storage strategies and material flow.
• Assess capacity constraints and recommend operational improvements.
• Lead and develop warehouse staff while promoting accountability.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Production, Quality and Engineering teams.
