Placements24 seeks a proactive Warehouse Operations Lead for a Mahikeng facility. This hands-on role supervises staff, overseeing receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping to maintain high productivity, safety, and accuracy across the warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate will have proven warehouse leadership, strong communication, and a practical understanding of warehouse management best practices, with the ability to drive process improvements in a busy distribution hub.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Warehouse Operations role, preferably as a supervisor or lead.
• Solid understanding of warehouse management best practices and logistics procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Supervise and guide warehouse associates in daily operational tasks, ensuring adherence to procedures.
• Oversee the efficient flow of goods, including receiving, put-away, order picking, and dispatch.
• Ensure accurate inventory management through diligent tracking and regular stock checks.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment, enforcing all safety protocols.
• Train new team members on warehouse processes, safety procedures, and system usage.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the warehouse operations to enhance efficiency.
