Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in KwaZulu-Natal to oversee daily warehousing operations, staff, and stock. You will ensure SOPs are followed, drive accuracy in stock control, and maintain safety and quality across shifts.

Requirements include a degree/diploma in supply chain or warehousing, at least 3 years warehousing experience, and strong supervisory skills. Proficiency in basic computer tasks and problem solving are essential; training and performance improvement

Qualifications

• 3 years warehousing experience or more.
• Ability to supervise staff behaviour and activity.
• Ability to implement and maintain operational processes.
• Ability to determine whether tasks are being carried out correctly.
• Ability to provide on the job training.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Administrative capabilities.

• Ability to solve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff within designated areas per SOP.
• Ensure processes are carried out according to SOPs.
• Maintain SOP knowledge, documentation and enforcement.
• Ensure tasks are efficient and effective.
• Check stock accuracy against documentation and stock records.
• Ensure stock handling and packaging quality.
• Resolve issues within your area; escalate unresolved ones to the Operations Manager.
• Ensure stock is properly controlled and counts are accurate.
• Generate operational reports and meet customer KPIs.
• Ensure staff training and staff security/compliance.
