Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee all warehouse activities in Pietermaritzburg. You will manage inventory, optimize space, and lead a dedicated team to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in SCM or related field and at least five years of leadership in a logistics environment. You will drive safety, cost control, and KPI reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.
• Manage inventory levels, stock control, and cycle counts.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
• Lead and train a team of warehouse staff, promoting safety and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and best practices.
• Manage budget, control costs, and report on KPIs to senior management.
