Armstrong Appointments in South Africa is assisting a mining manufacturing client to recruit a Warehouse Manager who will oversee stock control for finished products and raw materials, and manage warranty claims with traceback of job numbers.

Duties include general administration, plan transportation and deliveries, ensure daily vehicle inspections, coordinate repairs with the managing director, monitor driver logbooks, fuel slips, clock cards and driver tracking.

Qualifications

• Matric and higher diploma in supply chain.
• Minimum two to three years experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Hands-on and proactive approach.

Responsabilités

• Ensure daily vehicle inspections; consult MD for repairs.
• Driver logbooks must be updated; monitor fuel slips and clock cards.

Main job function

Our client in the mining manufacturing sector is recruiting a warehouse manager.The ideal candidate will have experience in stock control for incoming finished products incoming buy quotes to be checked. Stock control for raw materials and oversee warranty claims and do visual inspection and trace job numbers to confirm products.

• General administration.
• Plan transportation and deliveries.
• Ensue that the vehicles are inspected daily and consult with the managing director if there are any repairs to be done on vehicles.
• Ensure the drivers are completing their logbooks, and these are updated daily.
• Administrate fuel slips, clock cards and monitor the driver tracking system.
• Initiate disciplinary action if needed and ensure the drivers licenses and PDPs are up to date.

Qualifications

• Matric and higher diploma in supply chain

Experience

• Minimum two to three years

Good communication skills

• Hands on experience
