Job summary

Netcare invites you to join our team as a Ward Administrator in the Medical Unit. The incumbent will coordinate all secretarial and administration work, greet visitors and doctors, and assist data captures with error logs on MoBill.

You will also support staff and the Unit Manager with assigned duties. Key tasks include handling admissions, transfers and discharges, updating patient information, and ensuring SAP and CareON data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification is essential.
• Business Administration and/or Secretarial qualification preferred.
• 2–3 years' experience in an administration position is essential.
• Computer literate; knowledge of SAP IS-H advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all secretarial and administrative work in the unit.
• Receive Representatives, visitors and doctors in the Medical Unit and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Assist data captures and problem-solve error logs on MoBill.
• Support medical staff and Unit Manager with allocated duties.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges and related ward administration.
• Maintain patient boards and ensure SAP, CareON and IMT data are accurate.
