Placements24 is seeking a motivated Volunteer Coordinator for a charity in Mahikeng, North West. You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support of volunteers across programs, ensuring a positive and impactful volunteer experience that strengthens community ties.

Your duties include designing orientation and training, matching skills to tasks, maintaining records, and collaborating with staff to grow program impact while boosting volunteer engagement and retention.

Competenze

• Experience in volunteer management or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to recruit, train and motivate volunteers.
• Knowledge of the North West region and Mahikeng community is a plus.

• Develop and implement strategies to recruit volunteers from Mahikeng and beyond.
• Screen, interview, and onboard volunteers in line with policies.
