Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in volunteer management or related field.
• Proven ability to recruit, train and manage volunteers effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for motivating people.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with volunteer management software or databases preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Genuine passion for environmental causes and mission of the organization.
• Ability to collaborate with staff, volunteers and partners in Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, and onboard new volunteers.
• Develop and deliver training programs for volunteers.
• Coordinate volunteer schedules for events and operations in Centurion.
• Serve as primary contact for volunteers and provide ongoing support.
• Organize volunteer appreciation events and recognition initiatives.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records, hours, and assignments.
• Assist in developing and implementing volunteer policies and procedures.
