Job summary

The Talent Room is offering an internship in the automotive sales sector in the Western Cape. Interns will gain hands-on experience from customer engagement through to vehicle delivery and learn day-to-day dealership operations.

Successful candidates will assist with sales functions, build professional communication skills, and develop customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate required.
• Valid driver’s licence (non-negotiable).
• Interest in automotive sales and the motor industry is a plus.
• Current study or recent completion in Sales/Marketing or Business related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales consultants with customer enquiries and follow-ups.
• Support vehicle presentations and test drive arrangements.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and leads.
• Assist with preparing sales documentation, quotations, invoices and delivery paperwork.
• Participate in dealership events, activations and promotions.
• Conduct research on vehicle models, pricing and competitors.

Requirements

• It would be advantageous if you are currently studying towards, or have recently completed, a qualification in:

• Computer literate (MS Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities
