Job summary

Advius in Edenvale, South Africa, is seeking a target-driven Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Executive to grow used vehicle sales from the showroom floor. You will aim to meet monthly pre-owned unit targets and gross profit, build a personal customer base, and ensure every deal is accurately structured, documented and compliant.

Responsibilities include prospecting, greeting customers, presenting vehicles, negotiating deals, coordinating delivery, and maintaining CSI scores while driving F&I penetration

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ vehicle sales experience in franchised dealership, with pre-owned experience preferred.
• A proven record of meeting sales targets.
• Valid Code B (08) driver’s licence and own transport.
• Sound knowledge of vehicle finance process and consumer legislation (CPA, NCA).
• Strong negotiation, communication and customer service skills.
• Computer literate, including MS Office and a CRM/DMS.
• Professional appearance and a target-driven attitude.
• Clear criminal and credit record.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly pre-owned sales targets for units, gross profit and F&I penetration.
• Prospect actively for new business through walk-ins, online leads, referrals, social media and a personal customer database.
• Greet and qualify customers, present vehicles and conduct test drives.
• Negotiate and structure deals, and hand over to F&I for finance, warranties, service plans and value-added products.
• Make sure all deal documentation, FICA, deposits and payments are accurate and complete before delivery.
• Coordinate vehicle preparation, roadworthy certificates and licensing so deliveries happen on time.
• Respond promptly to online and portal leads (AutoTrader, Cars.co.za and the company website), and keep the CRM/DMS up to date.
• Follow up after sale to build repeat and referral business and maintain high customer satisfaction (CSI) scores.
• Take part in showroom promotions, events and weekend trading.
• Comply with the CPA, NCA, FICA, POPIA and company policies.
