Qualifications
- 5+ years of practical experience as a Mine Ventilation Technician or similar role.
- Experience with mine ventilation systems and air monitoring instrumentation.
- Familiarity with SA mining health and safety legislation.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of ventilation systems.
- Measure airflow, velocity, temperature, and humidity in the mine.
- Calibrate monitoring instruments for accuracy and reliability.
- Assist in ventilation plans and strategies with the Ventilation Engineer.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
