Job summary

Select Motor Recruitment in Durban seeks an accomplished Sales Leader to drive revenue across automotive retail. You will shape and execute sales strategies, manage regional managers, monitor KPIs, and coach teams to exceed targets while ensuring strong customer relationships and operational excellence.

You will oversee stock planning, promotions, and new product launches, with emphasis on retail performance, staff development, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' sales experience.
• Preferred 3+ years in a retail environment.
• Matric Certificate (Grade 12) required.
• Leadership courses advantageous.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Sales Strategy to achieve revenue and sales targets.
• Oversee and drive the Action Plans of Regional Managers.
• Establish and manage performance goals for sales staff.
• Monitor and analyse sales and marketing trends.
• Launch new products and ensure product knowledge across staff.
• Grow and manage Dealer Tyre Program and new business revenue streams.
• Set and monitor KPIs, train new recruits, and ensure standards compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance of stock, planning schedules, overtime control.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, and manage billing processes.
• Drive performance reporting, KPI achievement, and staff development.
