Select Motor Recruitment is seeking an experienced Branch Manager in Gauteng to lead tyre and fitment centre operations, drive profitability, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will oversee workshop activities, manage staff performance, and ensure efficient stock control while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, 3–5 years in related environments, and a proven track record in achieving sales and service targets within the automotive sector.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) and valid driver’s licence.
• 3–5 years’ experience in tyre/fitment centre automotive workshop or related environment.
• Previous supervisory or team-leader experience.
• Strong knowledge of tyre and automotive products and services.
• Computer literacy and experience with business management systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
• Motor Industry experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager with overall branch management and profitability.
• Oversee daily workshop and fitment centre operations.
• Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
• Support and motivate staff to achieve sales and operational targets.
• Assist with managing counter sales and customer enquiries.
• Monitor workflow, job quality, and turnaround times.
• Ensure workshop efficiency and productivity targets are met.
• Assist with stock control, stock counts, and inventory management.
• Monitor adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
• Support recruitment, training, and staff development initiatives.
• Assist with cash-ups, reporting, and general branch administration.
• Step in and manage the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
