Job summary

Select Motor Recruitment is seeking a motivated Sales Trainee for a fast-paced Tyre & Automotive Service Centre. This role offers hands-on training across tyre sales, vehicle servicing, customer relations, quotations, and business development within the automotive aftermarket.

You will focus on achieving sales targets, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities while supporting daily operations and reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric; Diploma in Sales / Marketing.
• 0–2 years sales or customer service experience.
• Valid driver's licence and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Visit companies and fleets to sell products and services.
• Advise customers on availability, costs, performance and options.
• Suggest upsell opportunities (rims, batteries, PG products, etc.).
• Build and maintain customer relationships and handle after‑sales service.
• Prepare quotations and process orders and invoices.
• Travel to see account customers and attend training as required.
