Select Motor Recruitment is seeking an experienced Vehicle Sales Manager to lead the New Vehicle Sales Department in Gauteng. You will drive sales performance, manage forecasts, and ensure OEM standards are met.

You will recruit and mentor sales executives, manage budgets and monthly reporting, and maximise manufacturer incentives to grow market share while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Vehicle Sales Manager within a franchised motor dealership.
• Must have a New Vehicle Sales background.
• Strong understanding of OEM standards, manufacturer requirements, dealer incentives, rebates, and floorplan management.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a sales team to consistently achieve targets.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and profitability management.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Stable employment history with contactable references.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the New Vehicle Sales Department.
• Drive vehicle sales performance and departmental profitability.
• Ensure compliance with OEM and dealership standards.
• Manage sales targets, forecasts, and monthly reporting.
• Monitor floorplan requirements and stock management.
• Maximise manufacturer incentives, rebates, and bonus structures.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop sales executives.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and OEM representatives.
• Implement sales strategies to increase market share and overall dealership performance.
