Job summary

Optimi Learning is seeking a Tutor Support Consultant in Centurion to join a fast-paced team. You will onboard tutors, manage accounts, and provide proactive guidance to tutor centres via calls and emails, focusing on first-call resolution and strong relationships.

The role requires excellent communication, English and Afrikaans fluency, and the ability to handle multiple online platforms with accuracy. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• Certificate/Diploma in Client Services preferred.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Computer literate with ability to manage various online platforms.
• Fast and accurate typing skills.
• Proficiency in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal).
• Availability to occasionally travel.

Responsibilities

• Set up new tutors within allocated time frame.
• Capture data accurately.
• Onboard new tutors via welcome email, call or Zoom meeting and establish rapport.
• Tutor account management with focus on retention.
• Provide regular proactive guidance to tutor centres via calls and emails.
• Assist tutor centres by solving queries within target turnaround time with first-call resolution.
• Proactive follow-up to ensure complete resolution.
• Ensure tutors feel supported and empowered.
• Conduct courtesy visits to tutor centres to strengthen relationships and provide support.
• Act as a link between tutors and back office to prioritise query resolution.
• Execute additional operational and administrative tasks and assist colleagues with overflow work.

• Assist allocated tutor centres by solving their queries within a targeted turnaround time while focusing on a first-call resolution.
• Ensure proactive follow-up of queries to ensure complete resolution.
• Ensure that tutors feel supported and empowered.
• Conduct courtesy visits to tutor centres where necessary to strengthen relationships and provide additional support.
• Act as a link between tutors and the back office to ensure query resolution takes priority.

The position is based in Centurion.
