About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic IT Tutor to join our team. This is an in‑office role, ideally suited to someone already based on the South Coast of KwaZulu‑Natal or willing to relocate to the area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality instruction and hands‑on training in CompTIA A+, Network+, and related IT support topics. The ideal candidate will have both theoretical and practical experience, guiding learners to develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the IT field.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and structured training sessions for CompTIA A+, Network+, and other foundational IT certifications.
• Provide one‑on‑one or group support to students, assisting with troubleshooting exercises, assessments, and exam preparation.
• Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and track progress.
• Stay current with the latest IT technologies, tools, and CompTIA exam objectives.
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment, online.
• Collaborate with other instructors and technical staff to improve the overall quality of training delivery.
• Support administrative and technical operations for classroom or lab environments (e.g., setting up virtual labs, maintaining network equipment, or configuring systems).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CompTIA A+, Network+ (advantageous).
• Strong practical experience in IT support, networking, and troubleshooting (hardware, operating systems, and networks).
• Experience teaching, mentoring, or coaching students in a classroom or online environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, accessible terms.
• Familiarity with virtual labs, online learning platforms, and modern training tools.
