The role requires strong CAD and traffic modelling skills, at least 6 years in the field, and a track record of managing multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 6 years in transportation/road design.
• Proficient in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and traffic modeling.
• Knowledge of South African road design standards.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan road networks, highways, intersections, and related transportation infrastructure.
• Conduct traffic studies, capacity analyses, and develop traffic management plans.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for road projects.
• Oversee construction supervision and ensure compliance with design standards and quality.
• Liaise with municipal authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Apply principles of sustainable urban planning and transport design.
