Job summary

Purpose of Job:

Company wide responsible for sourcing and/or developing unique training courses and programs for the company and employees. Key duties include speaking with department heads to determine training needs, implementing training programs, and reviewing data from current and previous training programs to determine their success.

Training & Development

• Assist with drafting and managing the training budget.
• Oversee all employee training programs, including administrative, technical, mandatory training, talent management, leadership development, and learnership programs.
• Assess the effectiveness of training programs and align with business units on staffing, resources, and program improvements.
• Identify and implement improvements in HR training tools and methods.

Policies & Procedures

• Assist with the drafting and updating of Company Policies and Procedures when required.
• Ensure that the handbook is updated and policies are distributed and implemented when changes are made.

Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

• Matric (Grade 12 Certificate)
• HR Degree or Diploma
• Possession of a valid Code 08/EB drivers license
• At least 5 years’ HR experience
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word
