Job summary

Clicks Group Limited is seeking a Learning and Development professional to coordinate and deliver training across our Centurion/Pretoria sites. The role focuses on learning delivery, needs analysis, material development, and learner engagement to drive capability across the business.

The incumbent will manage assessments, reports, and quality assurance while supporting multiple sites as required. A relevant L&D qualification and assessment credentials are preferred, with travel between sites as

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Education, or related field.
• Assessor/Moderator certification is advantageous.
• Registered assessor/moderator status advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate training interventions aligned to approved plans and requirements.
• Deliver technical, operational, leadership, onboarding, and compliance training.
• Develop, review and update learning material and facilitator guides.
• Coordinate training delivery across Centurion site and other sites as needed.
• Conduct training needs analyses with operational stakeholders.
• Assess learner competence and provide developmental feedback; maintain records.

Job description

To coordinate, facilitate, assess, and support learning and development interventions aligned to operational and business requirements. The incumbent will be responsible for the Pretoria site training function while also supporting other sites and business units as required by operational needs.The role is responsible for delivering quality learning interventions, conducting training needs analysis, developing training material, and ensuring effective learner engagement and capability development across the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Learning Delivery & Facilitation

• Facilitate training interventions in line with approved learning plans and business requirements.
• Deliver technical, operational, leadership, onboarding, and compliance-related training.
• Ensure effective learner engagement and participation during training sessions.
• Adapt facilitation methods to suit operational and learner needs.
• Conduct practical assessments and evaluations where required.

Training Needs Analysis

• Conduct training needs analysis in partnership with operational stakeholders.
• Identify skills gaps, capability needs, and development priorities.
• Recommend learning interventions aligned to operational performance requirements.
• Support the implementation of capability-building initiatives across departments.

Training Material Development

• Develop, review, and update learning material, facilitator guides, assessments, presentations, and learner manuals.
• Ensure training material aligns with operational processes, compliance standards, and learning objectives.
• Customise learning content to support changing business and operational requirements.
• Support the digitisation and enhancement of learning content where applicable.

Operational & Site Support

• Take ownership of learning delivery and coordination at the Centurion / Polokwane site.
• Support learning interventions at other sites as determined by business requirements.
• Collaborate with operational management to schedule and coordinate training effectively.
• Ensure training attendance registers, records, and reporting are accurately maintained.
• Support audits, compliance requirements, and SETA-related activities where applicable.

Assessment, Reporting & Quality Assurance

• Assess learner competence and provide developmental feedback.
• Monitor training effectiveness and learner progress.
• Compile training reports, attendance records, and evaluation feedback.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and learning governance requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within Learning & Development.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Education, or related field. Preferable 3 Year Qualification
• Assessor and/or Moderator certification advantageous.
• Registered constituent Assessor/Moderator advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in Learning & Development or Training.
• Experience facilitating operational or technical training.
• Experience in training material development and training coordination.
• Experience conducting training needs analysis.
• Distribution Centre, Retail, Logistics, or Operational environment experience advantageous.
