LearnMe is a leading provider of Learning Programmes and Skills Development qualifications, HR & B-BBEE Consulting, committed to excellence in education and professional development. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Training & Quality Assurance Manager to join our dynamic team.
We are looking to recruit a suitable candidate for the position of Training & Quality Assurance Manager at LearnMe, based at our offices in Centurion, Gauteng. The position will primarily focus on training quality assurance, regulatory compliance, accreditation and maintaining training standards within the South African education and skills development sector. We are specifically looking for a candidate with practical experience working with SETAs, the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) and other relevant education and training regulatory bodies. The successful candidate must have hands‑on experience in managing accreditation processes, occupational qualifications, external assessment preparation and audit readiness.
- Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance processes across all training programmes.
- Manage and maintain compliance with SETA, QCTO and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate QCTO accreditation applications, renewals and ongoing compliance requirements.
- Oversee the implementation and quality assurance of occupational qualifications and associated training programmes.
- Coordinate external assessment preparation, including learner readiness, documentation and assessment requirements.
- Ensure the organisation remains audit‑ready by maintaining accurate compliance records, learner files and supporting evidence.
- Conduct internal audits, identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor the quality of training delivery, facilitation, assessments and moderation processes.
- Support and guide facilitators, assessors and moderators to maintain consistent training standards.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, external stakeholders and internal training teams.
- Maintain quality assurance reports and drive continuous improvement across training operations.
- 3–5 years' relevant experience in training quality assurance, compliance or training management.
- Proven practical experience working with SETAs and QCTO.
- Direct experience in QCTO accreditation processes, occupational qualifications, external assessment preparation and audit readiness is essential.
- Good understanding of the South African skills development and occupational qualifications environment.
- Experience in managing learner assessments, moderation processes and training compliance documentation.
- Experience conducting internal audits and preparing for external regulatory audits.
- Strong organisational, administrative, reporting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with training and operational teams.
- Relevant qualification in Education, Training, Human Resources, Quality Management or a related field.
- Assessor and/or Moderator certification would be advantageous.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) would be beneficial.
Note: We would prefer candidates who have worked directly within an accredited training provider or private skills development organisation, rather than individuals whose experience is limited to general corporate training or quality assurance. It is particularly important that candidates have practical, operational experience with QCTO and SETA compliance, rather than only theoretical knowledge of the regulatory environment.
- Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- A supportive and collaborative work environment.
