FirstRand Limited's RMB Global Markets team seeks a Trading Systems Support Analyst / Specialist to own the operational health of production services spanning trading, risk, settlement and regulatory reporting. You will diagnose complex issues, coordinate restorations and support releases, leveraging monitoring, AI/ML and automation for resilience.

Qualifications

Diploma/degree in IT, BI or related field is required.
Exposure to AI projects and AI implementations is advantageous.
2-5 years’ experience in Trading Systems across asset classes.
Experience with APIs and FICS Protocol basics.
Experience with monitoring/alerting tools and scheduling tools.
Fundamental database and networking protocol knowledge; understanding of SDLC.
Basic backups knowledge and technical prerequisites.

Responsabilités

Own operational health of production services in RMB Global Markets.
Diagnose complex issues and coordinate service restorations.
Support change and release activities; drive preventative improvements via monitoring/automation.
Lead incident ownership, triage with vendors, document resolutions.
Coordinate training materials and business readiness assessments; maintain security/compliance.
