Job summary

RMB Global Markets seeks a Trading Systems Specialist (Enablement) in Johannesburg to own the operational health of production services supporting market access, pricing, execution, and settlement. You will coordinate incident management, support changes, and drive automation using monitoring and AIOps.

The role requires 2–5 years in trading systems across asset classes and experience with APIs, FIX protocols, SQL and monitoring tools. This is a full-time on-site position based in Johannesburg.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT or related field.
• Experience in Trading Systems across asset classes preferred.
• Knowledge of APIs and FIX protocol basics.
• Experience with monitoring/alerting tools and scheduling tools.
• SQL knowledge and basic networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational health of production services in trading tech.
• Coordinate incident management and service restoration with vendors.
• Support change and release activity; contribute to testing and deployments.
• Develop and maintain training materials and runbooks for business readiness.
• Contribute to preventative improvements via monitoring, AIOps and automation.
• Engage in stakeholder and vendor management to meet service levels.
