Placements24 is seeking a Security Analyst specializing in Threat Intelligence to join our team in Rustenburg, North West. The role focuses on identifying and reporting emerging cyber threats to enhance client defenses.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of threat intelligence or security analysis experience, strong OSINT skills, and a solid understanding of MITRE ATT&CK. This position offers growth in a dynamic cybersecurity environment in Rustenburg.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, International Relations or related field.
• 2–4 years of threat intelligence or security analysis experience.
• Proven ability to collect, analyze and disseminate threat intelligence.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).
• Strong OSINT techniques and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze threat intelligence feeds, advisories, and OSINT.
• Identify, profile threat actors and their TTPs.
• Develop threat intelligence reports, briefings and alerts for teams and clients.
• Correlate threat data to identify patterns and predict trends.
• Support incident response with threat context and intelligence integration.
