Placements24 is seeking a Cybersecurity Threat Analyst to remotely support operations based out of Rustenburg. You will focus on proactive threat hunting, intelligence gathering, and analysis to identify and neutralize security risks before they impact the organization.

You will work with SOC and incident response teams, develop detection rules, and produce threat reports. The role suits a curious, analytical mind eager to stay ahead of cyber adversaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in threat intelligence, security operations, or incident analysis.
• Proficiency in analyzing security logs, network traffic, and malware samples.
• Understanding of malware analysis techniques and attack methodologies.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities
